Introducing the HP PageWide XL 5100 & 6000

Fresh off a busy week at Autodesk University 2017 in Las Vegas, NV, HP proudly announced the two newest members of the PageWide XL Family. Entering what many worldwide consider to be the true excellence in technical precision, the brand new PageWide XL 5100 & PageWide XL 6000 join an already established line up of large format printers that are currently being adopted at a high rate.
The two newest members of the PageWide XL family come with many new benefits for numerous potential users across the board. The XL 5100 and XL 6000 provide up to 70 percent faster output, pushing forth an opportunity for technical production providers to grow AEC volume. In addition to AEC growth, business owners can continue to expand their business in color applications.
The two newest PageWide XL additions further strengthen the already amazing printer portfolio that has quickly taken up large format printer market share the past two years. HP continues to further drive the opportunity for businesses to be readily equip and meet the needs of reprographic print specialists, enterprise print rooms, high-end heavy-end CAD users, and mid-volume production users. Whether in need of color, monochrome, or both, HP continues to further push the boundaries of producing the ultimate all-in-one multifunction large format printer.
Breaking down the statistics of the two new additions, HP is continuing to push eye-opening statistical performances. The PageWide XL 5100 prints at speeds up to 20 D/A1 pages per minute with a quick 28-second first page out performance. Following suit, the PageWide XL 6000 prints at speeds up to 24 D/A1 pages per minute with an even faster 25-second first page out performance. Both printers exceed outstanding print quality.
Much like their family members & predecessors, both PageWide XL's come in multifunction configurations for copying and scanning in collaboration. Both printers are also include other benefits such as:

In addition to new additions to the hardware end, HP also unveiled updates to the software end with two new updates. HP SmartStream now offers two brand new modules: Document Organizer and Pixel Analysis. Document Organizer allows users to automatically rename large volumes of files using innovative OCR technology, for saving time in job management. Pixel Analysis allows for accurate quotation prior to printing. Users can tie this module in with HP SmartTracker to control printing costs and enable reimbursement planning.
