Features
High Temperature Resistance
BigRep HI-TEMP CF filament combines the heat resistance of HI-TEMP filament with the added strength and stiffness of carbon fiber reinforcement. It can withstand high temperatures up to 160°C (320°F) while maintaining its structural integrity, making it suitable for demanding applications in elevated temperature environments.
Superior Strength and Stiffness
The carbon fiber reinforcement in BigRep HI-TEMP CF filament provides exceptional strength and stiffness. It enhances the mechanical properties of the filament, resulting in parts that can withstand higher loads and maintain dimensional stability even under stress.
Excellent Chemical Resistance
HI-TEMP CF filament exhibits excellent resistance to various chemicals, similar to the HI-TEMP filament. It can withstand exposure to oils, greases, and certain solvents, making it suitable for applications that require resistance to chemical corrosion or contact with harsh substances.
Lightweight
Despite its enhanced strength, BigRep HI-TEMP CF filament remains lightweight due to the carbon fiber reinforcement. This makes it an ideal choice for applications that require high-performance parts without adding excessive weight, such as aerospace, automotive, or robotics.
Reduced Warping and Shrinkage
The carbon fiber reinforcement in HI-TEMP CF filament helps to minimize warping and shrinkage during the printing process. This results in more accurate and dimensionally stable prints, reducing the likelihood of print failures and improving overall print quality.
