Using completely contact-free scanning technology, it safely captures oil paintings, watercolors, pastels, and mixed-media works at archival 1200 DPI resolution — meeting the strictest museum-quality standards with FADGI and ISO 19264-1 Level A compliance for true archival-grade reproductions.
Built for serious large-format work, the WideTEK 60ART accommodates artwork up to a generous 60" x 80" (1524 x 2032 mm) and handles dimensional pieces — including framed works — with surface clearance up to 5.5 inches thick. Its contact-free scanning design protects fragile, antique, and even still-wet paintings from any risk of damage, while 1200 x 1200 DPI optical resolution faithfully records every brushstroke, pigment variation, and surface texture. Cool LED illumination with no warm-up time and zero IR/UV emission further safeguards delicate pigments and substrates from light-related degradation. Despite its precision, the scanner delivers efficient throughput at 1.66 inches per second at 300 DPI, keeping high-volume digitization projects on schedule. Operators control everything through an integrated 17-inch touchscreen powered by a built-in 64-bit Linux system, making the WideTEK 60ART a fully self-contained, professional-grade digitization workstation.

Contact-Free Scanning of Fragile Material or Wet Artwork
Originals are moved fully automatically under the CCD camera elements without ever touching the scanner, making it safe for oil and acrylic paintings, watercolors, charcoal and pastel drawings, mixed media collages, and antique works — with or without frames. Even still-wet paintings can be scanned, provided the piece is framed or the edges are dry enough to rest on the scanning bed.
Manual or Motorized Scan Table
Operators can position artwork precisely using motorized control or switch to manual movement when fine adjustments are needed. Motorized focus adjustment up to 5.5 inches.
