What’s new with the UltiMaker METHOD XL?
A Large 305 mm x 305 mm x 320 mm Build Volume
UltiMaker takes what users love about the METHOD series of desktop 3D printers and goes all in on big. The new METHOD XL has a build volume of 305 mm x 305 mm x 320 mm (XYZ), a sizable upgrade compared to the METHOD and METHOD X printers, both of which have a max build volume of 190 mm x 190 mm x 196 mm.
This new larger build volume on the METHOD XL now rivals that of the UltiMaker S5 and UltiMaker S7 printers, each of which feature a max build volume 330 mm x 240 mm x 300 mm.
+/- 0.2mm Dimensional Part Accuracy
Why is this important?
Unlike the METHOD XL, most 3D printers in a similar category or even those in the METHOD series do not have a measured dimensional accuracy specification. Engineers looking to print highly accurate functional prototypes without a high upfront cost can now have a perfect option in the METHOD XL.
New Material Offering: ABS-CF
Combining the performance of carbon fiber with the reliability of ABS, ABS-CF unlocks high performance properties, while also being compatible with RapidRinse water soluble support material for greater design freedom.
Integrated Air Filters and External Material Handling Case
Also included is an external material handling case designed to protect your materials from exposure to ambient moisture in your environment.
